The front end includes a 4-inch tubular drop axle with a manual steering box, drum brakes, braided stainless steel brake lines, and Pete and Jakes chrome shock absorbers on all four corners. The fiberglass body, expertly molded by Downs Industries, includes wood and steel reinforcements, with hidden door and trunk hinges. For added comfort, the cockpit is stretched by 2 inches to provide extra legroom.
