Exterior Features:
This extraordinary build features a 1934 Ford shell with custom elements designed to capture the essence of dirt track racing aesthetics. The vehicle is painted predominantly in yellow with striking red accents, complemented by racing sponsorships. Distinguishing features include black steel tubular “rub rails” for a rugged racing appearance and a red steel push bar/bumper. It is equipped with large Hoosier dirt track tires mounted on white steel wheels, built for durability and performance.
Interior Components:
Designed with racing in mind, the interior houses a pair of modern gray bucket seats accompanied by a large steering wheel, all surrounded by a sturdy white steel roll cage. Essential instrumentation is mounted on a factory black steel dash, ensuring the driver has vital information at their fingertips. The flooring, composed of black steel, adds to the vehicle’s robust construction.
Engine and Drivetrain:
Under the hood, you’ll find a naturally aspirated 221ci V8 engine with a single 2-barrel carburetor, providing the ideal fuel and air mixture. The vehicle is equipped with a reliable Ford 3-speed manual transmission, connected to a factory-style 4.11 axle for a smooth and powerful driving experience.
Undercarriage and Suspension:
Constructed for the demands of dirt track racing, the undercarriage features a factory Ford steel frame supported by transverse leaf spring suspension both front and rear. It utilizes “juice” drum brakes for effective stopping power during intense racing conditions. Although there is minor surface rust, the overall condition remains robust. A red fuel cell mounted within adds practicality to the vehicle’s design.
Condition and Notes:
The vehicle was crafted for racing aesthetics and, according to our research, has not competed in actual dirt track races. The fuel cell is currently empty, and the vehicle requires a push start, allowing the buyer to have a unique hands-on experience.
