The body features nicely crafted molded fiberglass with curved lines throughout, giving it a sleek and aerodynamic profile. The front end is highlighted by a “shield” style grille with vertical ribs, curving downward to meet the front fenders that seem to flutter outward like a butterfly’s wings, elegantly framing the front wheels and tires. These fenders flow seamlessly into the running boards and rear fenders, maintaining the smooth design of the car. The body is further accentuated by gleaming chrome bumpers, handles, headlight pods, and mirrors. The shiny Colorado Custom wheels in 14 and 15-inch sizes add the perfect finishing touch, wrapped with small and big blackwall rubber.

The black tweed door panels, featuring beautifully stitched purple flame inserts, add a touch of sophistication. The black tweed continues to the interior bucket seats, which are outfitted with purple tuck and roll inserts and smooth outside bolsters, all highlighted by purple piping. The seats are in excellent condition, and the interior was fully redone in 2012, ensuring both comfort and style.

In front of the seating is a small consolette, housing the B&M gearshift lever, a cup holder, and a small storage cubby for convenience. Above, the black painted dash features VDO gauges, providing all the essential information at a glance. The center section is home to an AM/FM/CD stereo, while the tilt steering column, equipped with a two-spoke padded rim billet-style steering wheel, adds a touch of flair. The dash is also adorned with custom pinstriping and George Barris’ signature, adding a unique touch of personality. The interior is finished off with well-preserved black carpet, creating a clean and snazzy look.

Drivetrain: Power-Packed Performance

Pop the hood, and you’ll find a powerful 350ci V8 engine painted in purple, fitted with a Lunati .488i/.509e lift and 234i/244e duration camshaft. This engine breathes easily thanks to a pair of Holley 600cfm 4-barrel carburetors mounted atop a Weiand 671 supercharger, making sure this ride delivers the power and performance you crave. Power is sent through a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission to a Ford 8.8″ rear axle, ensuring smooth shifting and a thrilling driving experience. The engine bay is beautifully presented, with polished aluminum accents and chrome dress-up parts to add a touch of class.

Undercarriage: Solid and Built for Performance

The custom fiberglass body is attached to a solid frame with minor surface rust on untreated components. The suspension components are painted silver, with a Mustang II-style front suspension and a rear 4-link coil spring setup, providing a smooth, controlled ride. The car features power disc brakes up front and power drum brakes at the rear for excellent stopping power. The dual exhaust system with Dynomax mufflers ends in shiny turn-down tips in front of each rear wheel, delivering that signature hot rod sound.
