1964.5 Ford Mustang Convertible – 302 V8, 4-Speed Manual

 

A great-looking driver-quality classic Mustang convertible, believed to have been Grampa’s pride and joy for the last 40 years, now available after being purchased from an estate.

Originally a 1964½ production Mustang, likely born with a 260ci V8 and 3-speed

 

Now upgraded with a 1970s-era 302ci V8 and a Toploader 4-speed manual transmission

 

Runs and drives well – recent service includes:

 

New tires

 

New gas tank

 

Rebuilt carburetor

 

Fresh battery

 

Brake service

 

Fluids changed

 

Condition Overview:

 

Body/Paint: Presents well as a driver. Paint has some imperfections, particularly small bumps on the top of the front fenders. Doors close cleanly and body lines are solid.

 

Interior/Top: Convertible top is in good shape with minor staining. Interior is clean and functional.

 

Undercarriage: Floors have been repaired and are solid. Appears to have been a solid base car, not a rust bucket.

 

Glass/Trim: Good condition overall, consistent with an older restoration.
