This 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone is powered by a 393 cu. in. Cleveland stroker engine, backed by a modified AOD 4-speed automatic transmission and a 9” Ford posi-traction rear differential.
Body & Paint
Body was essentially rust-free at time of purchase
Two-stage urethane paint approximately 10 years old
Only bodywork performed was in two small areas behind the rear wheels
AFX fiberglass hood and front bumper (original hood and bumper included)
No visible cracks or bubbles in the paint
Some chrome trim replaced around fender wells and front/rear windows
Top rear window trim piece is included but not currently installed
Glass in good condition with a few scratches on the side glass
Chrome is in good overall condition
