This 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is the epitome of classic muscle and automotive craftsmanship, having undergone a frame-off rotisserie restoration. The Signet Gold exterior, which was the original factory color (as verified by the build sheet), gleams with vintage charm, showcasing one of the most stunning A-body GTOs we have seen.
Under the hood, the 400 CID V8 engine has been professionally rebuilt to factory specifications. This engine, which originally came with the HO (High Output) 360 horsepower package, is paired with the correct 670 cylinder heads, factory intake, and high-output exhaust manifolds. The carburetor has been restored by Cliffs High Performance, ensuring the engine runs as it did when it left the factory. The entire system is complemented by an aluminized exhaust, producing a symphony of power and performance. Power is routed through a 4-speed M20 wide-ratio manual transmission and delivered to a 3.55:1 Posi-traction rear end for exceptional handling and acceleration.
The exterior is complemented by the Rally II wheels wrapped in Redline tires, along with a correct jack and spare in the trunk. The car retains its factory options, including power steering and power front disc brakes, making it a pleasure to drive.
Inside, the correct coded black bucket seats and original center console provide a vintage experience, while the Rally gauge cluster with a tachometer puts everything within the driver’s reach. The original AM radio has been upgraded to AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input, maintaining the car’s classic aesthetic while adding modern functionality.
Additional features include:
- Power convertible top
- Tilt steering wheel
- T3 headlamps
- Soft ray tinted glass
- LED interior and tail lights
- Under-hood and trunk lights
This 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is not just a car; it’s a piece of automotive history. With its meticulous restoration, high-performance engine, and stunning features, this GTO is ready for both show and go.
