DESCRIPTION

This 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB is finished in Grigio Silverstone over Nero leather and is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 paired with a six-speed F1 automated manual transmission. Equipment includes a carbon-fiber steering wheel, power-adjustable seats, parking sensors, carbon-fiber trim, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Monolithic 20″ wheels. The car was first sold by Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and was acquired by the owner in 2013. Utilizing an aluminum chassis, the 599 features Pininfarina-designed bodywork which incorporated functional aerodynamic elements that include a rear diffuser, brake cooling ducts, and flying-buttress-style C-pillars. This example is finished in Grigio Silverstone, and additional details include bi-xenon headlamps, parking sensors, quad exhaust outlets, and aftermarket carbon-fiber-style fender shields. Forged 20″ Monolithic wheels are finished in black and wear 245/35 front and 305/35 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. The 599 rides on an aluminum chassis with a semi-active magnetorheological suspension system, while stopping power is from cross-drilled carbon-ceramic brake rotors clamped by yellow Ferrari-branded calipers at all four corners. The cabin is upholstered in black leather with red contrast stitching, while carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes power-adjustable seats, a Ferrari-branded Bose stereo system with an iPod adapter, automatic climate control, and a leather-trimmed rear parcel shelf. The carbon-fiber steering wheel fronts column-mounted gear selector paddles and features a redline LED display and an engine start button as well as a manettino dial to control driving settings. Instrumentation includes a yellow central tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 220-mph speedometer, and a multifunction display. The 6.0-liter F140C V12 was factory rated at 611 horsepower and 448 lb-ft of torque.
